We are located in the southern part of Anderson County and pride ourselves on friendly folks, our rural heritage, and our progressive town. Come on over and enjoy the many lakes and rivers that are a part of our area and see why Iva is known as the The Town of Iva has been selected to receive funds from the American Recovery Act and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) through the State Revolving Fund (SRF) Program in the amount of $1,263,000.00. The funding will enable the town to install new Radio Read Water Meters. The Town of Iva will be among only a few towns in South Carolina utilizing this type of technology. The new water meters will allow the town to operate using more energy-efficient equipment and allow for more control of its water usage. “This is the largest funding award the Town of Iva has ever received. We are grateful to our Engineers, Dunn & Associates, for their work in preparing for this funding. This project is a continuation of our efforts to become a more energy-efficient community and to make Iva an attractable location for business development”. Bobby E.
