Hwy 81 Median Installation
The Iva Town Council unanimously passed a resolution to approve the installation of six medians to be installed on Hwy 81. The Anderson County Transportation Committee (ACTC) has unanimously approved funding in the amount $45,000 to assist with the costs of installation.
The Town of Iva has submitted application for permitting to the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT). Pending approval from the SCDOT, construction and installation is scheduled to begin the first week in November 2008.
“We are excited to continue with beautification and enhancement projects to make Iva beautiful, and this is just another aspect of that plan.” said Bobby Gentry, Mayor of Iva
